Recognizing the importance of this critical period, the Child Development Promotion Committee has been established within the Iranian Pediatric Association to advance policies, education, research, and public awareness in the field of Early Childhood Development (ECD).

Bridging Clinical Questions and Scientific Evidence in Child Health
Pediatrics relies more than most medical specialties on robust, up-to-date, and locally relevant scientific evidence. From evaluating the impact of early interventions on child growth and development to monitoring patterns of antimicrobial resistance in common pediatric infections, safe and effective clinical practice depends on high-quality research.
With this vision, the Research Committee has been established within the Iranian Pediatric Association to promote excellence in pediatric research.
The Committee serves as a platform for the generation, dissemination, and application of locally relevant scientific evidence, addressing the priority health needs of children in Iran and supporting evidence-based pediatric practice.
Members of the Iranian Pediatric Association with research ideas or an interest in participating in collaborative research projects are warmly invited to contact the Research Committee Secretariat. Experienced faculty members and researchers with expertise in supervising graduate theses and research projects are also encouraged to join the Committee’s Scientific Advisory Panel, where they can contribute to mentoring the next generation of pediatric researchers.
