Research Committee

Bridging Clinical Questions and Scientific Evidence in Child Health
Pediatrics relies more than most medical specialties on robust, up-to-date, and locally relevant evidence. From evaluating the impact of early interventions on child growth and development to monitoring antimicrobial resistance patterns in common pediatric infections, safe and effective clinical practice depends on high-quality research. Guided by this principle, the Research Committee has been established within the Iranian Pediatric Association.
The Committee responds to the growing need among pediatricians in Iran for the generation, dissemination, and application of locally relevant scientific knowledge that addresses the country’s child health priorities.
